Amplify Fitness physiotherapy experts use a combination of manual therapy, joint mobilisation, myofascial release and dry needling in order to provide the most suitable course of treatment. Our physiotherapists are experienced in treating a wide range of clients and understand the desire to get back up and running as soon as possible.

Manual therapy is used to improve function by increasing the quality and range of joint mobility, altering muscle activity, and increasing tissue flexibility.

Joint mobilisation and manipulation is a method of treatment used to restore optimal function and reduce pain, effectively treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

Myofascial release is a hands-on soft tissue technique that works by releasing the restrictions to the fascia. As these releases occur your physiotherapist can follow the pathway of further restrictions until the tissue becomes softer and relaxed. Fascial release removes the pressure from pain sensitive structures such as nervous and vascular systems; and restore mobility to joints and flexibility to muscles.

Dry needling therapy can be used in order to treat muscular injuries using trigger points. These trigger points play a role in producing and maintaining the pain cycle and develop in muscles for various reasons, including referred pain, inflammation, athletic injury or other causes. Releasing trigger points can improve muscle performance, as well as relieve muscle tightness along common referral patterns.
