Alex Parr

Director / Personal Trainer
Alex is from a running obsessed family background and competed in 400m & multi-events as a youngster. He played professional basketball in Italy before focusing on his career as a Personal Trainer. He has a Level 3 Personal Trainer with Sports & Exercise Science and works with many clients in the North East who reap the rewards of his one-on-one sessions and group classes. Alex also delivers Sport & Fitness Nutritional plans.
Chris Parr Amplify Fitness Coach

Director / Running Coach
Chris is a former Great Britain 1500m International and has a 10k PB of 29min45secs. He is a UKAthletics Level 2 Endurance coach and has worked with several internationally renowned coaches and has trained with many international athletes and several Olympians. Chris runs our running workouts and coaches clients to PBs in their big race. He is also the Race Director for the Quayside 5k organised by RunningNorthEast on behalf of Gateshead Harriers & AC.

Rich comes from a footballing background and his passion for sport set him on the pathway to develop his career as a fitness expert and personal trainer. He has his Level 3 Personal Training certificate with Sport & Exercise Science and works with many clients from the North East who reap the rewards of his tailored 1 to 1 sessions and small group personal training sessions.

Since working in the industry from just 17, Levi has been able to gain some great experience with a variety of people from many different backgrounds. Whatever your goals are she is keen to help and take on the challenge, however specialising in fat loss and weight management for women and pre/post natal training… Ladies she’s more than happy to help you!

Bringing variation and energy to every session, she will give you her full support with personal training and provide you with everything you need. She believes in creating a positive and healthy lifestyle not just a quick fix for a bikini. Jason Stobbs Amplify Fitness Sports Therapist

Jason Stobbs

Lead Sports Massage Therapist
Jason has a 10k PB of 36mins and a Half-Marathon time of 1hr21mins. He has a degree in Sports Therapy from Newcastle College and was selected to be a Sports Therapist in the Olympic Village at the London 2012 Olympic Games; treating many internationally athletes and Olympians.

As Lead Massage Therapist, Jason uses a variety of techniques to treat for acute problems caused by muscle & fascia tightness. Sports Massage promotes recovery from workouts and is used as part of a holistic approach to your overall fitness regime, leaving you in great condition to train harder again!

James Hogg Amplify Fitness Podiatrist

James Hogg

Lead Podiatrist
James is a former 1min53sec 800m runner who studied Sports Science at Loughborough University and Podiatry at Sunderland University.  He has trained with many international athletes and several Olympians and continues to run for fitness and fun.

As Lead Podiatrist, James specialises in Biomechanical Assessment where he uses his skill and the latest technology to look at lower limb, back and foot function in order to treat and if necessary prescribe custom made orthotics which are made on-site in our orthotics lab.
